The Tudor period featured low-cut, square necked gowns, elaborate blackwork embroidery and intricate beadwork, and a variety of sleeve styles. A noblewoman always wore a hoopskirt and a corset. This lovely Alaskan bride was kind enough to send us pictures of her Princess Tudor gown. Aelinn S. writes, “I want you to know that I am pleased... no, more like AMAZED at the beautiful dress you created for me. It was comfortable and lovely and wonderful and I recommend you to anyone who asks about my dress or who talks of getting a special garment. Thank you for helping to make my wedding live up to my dreams!” |
