1920s Wedding

Newly released from their corsets, the women of the 1920s embraced comfortable, unstructured dresses. If there was a waistline it was was dropped, and the gowns were usually tea length or shorter. Price range $150.00 and up.

This flapper gown is made of embossed silk and lined with silk satin. This slipover gown features three tiers of embossed silk, and the attached sash is silk chiffon. The bow of the sash is trimmed with faux pearls. This gown has no closures. $375.00 as shown.

This late 1920s gown is more Art Deco than Flapper. It’s made of satin jacquard, and only the bodice is lined. This slipover gown features a dropped, rounded waistline with a pointed “v” train. There is faux pearl trim across the neckline in the front and the back, and the straps are made of beaded lace. This gown has no closures. $200.00 as shown.
